The Substance catapults Coralie Fargeat into the realm of MAD GENIUS. It goes so far down its body horror rabbit hole that I'm not sure I'll ever hear that term again and not immediately think of this movie first. Squishy. Sadistic. Sad. Aging really is the ultimate body horror.

#TheSubstance - wow. Some of the boldest (and grossest) filmmaking I’ve seen in a long time. The reactions on here lived up to the film itself, which is always a treat. Moore and Qualley are rockstars. So many repulsive tricks up its sleeve. Hell yeah Coralie Fargeat!

The Substance should have audience cams in every screening where you can take away a printed pic of your face on a keyring like they do on Disneyland rides lol
