Happy Launch Day Marissa Franks Burt and Kelsey Kramer McGinnis ! Very excited to have this in my hands (but also this is a good opportunity to show off my new Turkish table runner and coffee set).

I wonder how many writers in the social media age have been, or will be born of the realization that it's more efficient to write one, 1500-word essay than to respond to the same argument worded different ways, 97 times from 97 different people.

More book mail. Happy belated launch day to Matthew Boedy and "The Seven Mountain Mandate"! Sitting here underlining like crazy in this Cafe Rio ... as one does.

The fertility cult is as old as human civilization itself, and it’s usually complemented by a masculine cult of militarism. This is why, even when we put "Christian" in front of it, the results don't change. It's a fertility cult ... and a death cult. Full article in comments:

If this administration really was launching some all-out effort to "find the cause of autism," and even if it did find a real nongenetic cause, that would not do anything to help burned-out parents of existing high-support-needs autistic children. A cause is not like a "cure."

Nothing is going to turn an autistic child into a neurotypical child, no matter where they are on the spectrum. The only thing that helps a living high-support-needs autist is support. And this admin laid off the ENTIRE Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services.

This was a hard essay to read because I'm familiar with so many of these movements within "cultural Christianity" I thought of them to troublesome but not directly connected to the wicked eugenics movement Worth a read but be prepared to be challenged 😞👇

This morning I published an article about militant pronatalism in the American church, and this afternoon RFK told the press that low fertility rates are "a national security threat." Thanks, I hate it, but I appreciate the impeccible timing. substack.com/home/post/p-17…
