⚠️ Adult content is being sanitized and squeezed off the internet in a way that it never has been before.

You should care, you should talk about it, you should know why it is different now and a big deal.

Hot take: the vast majority of orgs using Kubernetes today don't need it and its complexity is actively hurting security vs using a simpler solution the org actually understands.

I dreamed last night I had to IP renumber an entire subnet of cats. Yes, domestic house cats.

They didn’t support DHCP or IPv6. Meant reset via sequence of ear presses to access an admin interface, address selection via toe wiggles, count meows.

Yes, it was a weird dream.

During the Munich conference I was asked why I am so gloomy. Well, somebody has to tell it like it is, so here’s how it is: Things are not going well. 🧵

This is fascinating and should be on every single Blue team watch list

If you don't have playbooks to handle devices left behind in your offices, or are threat hunting physical devices - this should be a wake up call

I have found devices like these in the wild. They exist.

Network configuration analysis has always been the domain of commercial-grade software. Batfish changes all that with an open source, community-supported tool that can find errors and guarantees the correctness of planned or current network configurations. Ratul Mahajan joins Tom

Two months ago, my fully remote job of 3 years began a campaign to bring all employees back to office.

This confused me, as I was originally hired to be fully remote.

I lost that status because we recently moved into a temporary apartment while we shop for our first home.

It would appear that AS174 (Cogent) and AS2914 (NTT) have depeered in Europe. Causing a decent latency spike between single homed customers on both sides in Europe.

This is not Cogent's first de-peering, their wikipedia page has a mostly complete list en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cogent_Co…

In response to LACNIC briefly making all of their ROAs invalid today due to a expired CRL, bgp.tools now displays the 'Time Until Expire' of each part certificate, so you can quickly see one of these incidents coming, and where it might be coming from

Big news! Yesterday, the Czech government approved a resolution that on June 6, 2032 (20 years after so called IPv6 launch day), it will end the provision of government services over IPv4. 👏 Who is gonna join us?

Internet blackout in is now into its 7th day.

This is now the longest internet outage ever recorded for Gaza, and longer than previous recent outages combined.

An extended blackout like this compounds the trauma the people in Gaza have endured over the past 3+ months.

Repeat after me: Anything that collects data in public will eventually become an extension of the police evidence locker. The more data-collecting and retaining devices on the street, sidewalk, and buildings, the more *police* surveillance will be totalizing.
