As the dust on this strike settles one thing has become clear. The deal took roughly 10 days. 10 days. That’s it. The studio CEOs got serious and we had a deal in 10 days. When those 10 days happened was not the decision of the writers. It was the decision of the AMPTP.

Today seems like a good day to announce that with this new $10k donation... WE HAVE NOW DONATED $100,000 to Entertainment Community Fund! It's an unbelievable feeling and it's a credit to all of YOU who purchased shirts, hats and tote bags. Here's a quick thread on how we got here 1/x

One day I will be thrilled to shut down this store since that’ll mean both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA got fair deals. But that hasn’t happened yet. So I’m gonna keep selling shirts and raising money for the ECF until it does.

This will be hard to believe, but there was a time when studios wanted to make and distribute films. They accepted the risk that some would fail, others would profit. It was a wild time.
