REWATCH-#HomeAlone. A violent kid tortures two plumbers just trying to do their job. Classic Christmas psychological thriller. A family movie night must this time of year!

I was fortunate enough to be sent a link to watch #HumanHibachi3TheLastSupper. It’s the bloodiest! Very dark in places, and loved the ending. Better than HH2 in my opinion but the first still my favourite of the trilogy. Support indie horror & give this a go, out soon!

1st WATCH-#KevinHartActingMyAge. I like KH but not all jokes here landed. But those that did made me have a good old chuckle. “True story” - how much of what comedians say do we think actually happened?! Maybe it did but massively embellished do we think? 3/5.

1st WATCH-#TheHousemaid. I really enjoyed this slightly silly in places but with good twist thriller! Great cast - do love both Sweeney & Seyfried (there’s no way my wife would let Sweeney live with us 🤣). Brandon Sklenar adds value too. 4/5.

1st WATCH-#TheGreatFlood. Korean disaster thriller, which starts off extremely promising but then turns into a really bizarre sci-fi that I simply did not understand! It was a real let-down given the early promise. 2/5.

REWATCH-#Avatar. The FX are still great but you can tell they’re 16yrs old compared to modern standards. Shows how quickly things advance. I never understand the hate for this extremely intelligent and engaging film. I think it’s astonishingly excellent.

REWATCH-#RareExportsAChristmasTale. It’s not really a horror - it’s like they forgot to include bits to qualify for that genre! But it’s certainly a dark take on Santa mythology! With lots of naked old elf men! Would’ve been better if they went all out gore & scares.

REWATCH-#TheSantaClause. Been a few years & it’s not among my favourite Xmas films but my son had never seen so here we went. It’s a perfectly ok film, nothing more, nothing less. Has sufficient charm, is reasonably amusing & the Santa FX (particularly prosthetics) pretty good.
