Martin Lewis Putting interest rates up to combat inflation which is not consumer driven is a complete racket. They are doubling down on the problems and exacerbating. Driving up mortgage and rent, while there being no added incentive to put money into savings shows they aren't on our side

Dr Dan Goyal Thanks Dan If it helps I worked this out at the time to show how ridiculous the £37b spent on Track & Trace was £1m to 9500 GP surgeries= £9.5b £1m to 130 UK Unis= £130m £10m to 1910 UK hospitals= £19.1b £100m to 6 Public Health units= £600m That still leaves £7.4b
Really want to watch Paris test event British Triathlon but have to purchase a subscription to watch - such a shame. Would get more people interested in the sport if easier access to watching it
Martin Lewis It does need addressing, I earn 54k a year and my wife earns 10k a year and I have to pay back 40% of child benefit. Yet two parents on 49k a year don't. Ridiculously broken.
Martin Lewis Anyone earning £60k (with children)pays 40% tax on on 10k and also loses child benefit also minus national insurance…if you are the sole income this is devastating…you walk away with around 2 k in your pocket for 10k worth of work/overtime. This puts pressure on the family
