Seeding is finally over. Had lots of small hurdles but it's done. Finished off with some DEKALB Canada TruFlex DK 400 which did pretty well last year in a drought so hopingbfor some good moisture now.

Seeding done, and cattle to pasture but will it slow down...? Not a chance

Traded in the older Vermeer Corporation 605N for a new 605N. This is our 3rd vermeer baler. We first had a 2013 605 Super M which was an amazing baler then switched to a 605N and decided to upgrade to another before any government bullcrap messed with prices. #haythevermeerway

Started swathing SeCan CDC Durango. Looking like a decent crop for no rain for 2 months. Lucky enough to get some cooler days and 3 inches of rain in the last week and a half to keep it from burning up. #johndeere #harvest25

Another few days and the wheat will be wrapped up. SeCan AAC Starbuck VB has been consistent even on the drought years. This year its weighing around the heaviest we've ever had at 68lbs/bu and being #1 CWRS to boot.

Calf prices were amazing this week. I've never had a 6 digit cheque before. It was short lived as I paid crop input loans off so it it brought me to a question. Is it all worth it? I love cattle and the farm but its so mentally and financially draining.
