I see this a lot and I also struggle with this but please don't ever determine the value of your art based on numbers and engagement. You can be pretty damn proud of your work, no matter the likes. And there will also be someone looking forward to every new piece you post.

people think being an artist is easy money, but they don’t see how draining it is to juggle multiple socials, struggle with promotion when the algorithm almost never helps, pour so much effort and sacrifice behind the scenes that no one ever notices, all while doing it alone
