The Colorado Rockies are so depressing. We make fun of the 2024 White Sox for being historically bad but at least they have somewhat of a plan for their future. What have the Rockies done to invest in their future?

JR Ritchie threw a complete game shutout last night for Rome. Only allowed 2 baserunners (1 hit/1 walk). 9 strikeouts. 41.2 IP 1.30 ERA, 3.81 FIP, 3.98 xFIP, 24.2% K, 6.4% BB He’s ready for AA Columbus. Easily one of the most exciting Braves prospects to watch in 2025.

Drake Baldwin is going to force the Atlanta Braves to play him nearly every day. Not quite sure how they find the playing time for him defensively but he’s forcing the issue.
