This essentially proves the point public media had been making ahead of the funding cuts - that once federal funding was cut, it would likely never return.

I don’t think we in public media have fully grasped yet just how fast this all happened. I mean it went from decades of unrealistic political rhetoric to reality in just a matter of weeks. Life comes at ya fast as they say.
