🧵 We appreciate the many people who took the time to share their feedback about Lake Street. We are currently placing Slow Streets sign posts in three places on the street at one or two intersections along Lake Street (depending on how much work can be completed before dark).

Less than 72 hours after our Board’s decision on Slow Streets, our crews were on Lake Street installing new materials. That work concluded today.

While BART ground to a halt this morning due to "ice", hard-working SFMTA crews were on Battery St installing the Financial District's very first protected bike lanes. The new lanes will be open for use in the next few weeks!
