💥 boom what a win for the Tranby senior football team today. They went 2-0 down against Rishworth Sport but brought it back to win 4-3! A clever hat trick from George 👏 and a special mention to those lads who played a few year groups up today too. Top team performance.

Some terrific football games today for the Tranby boys teams against Woodhouse Grove. U12 (lost 2-5), U13 (lost 2-1), U14 (won 3-2) and U15 (won 4-2). Well done to all the lads involved 👏👏

Thank you to Bootham School for hosting the football games today. The Tranby U12 boys played brilliantly as a team and won 3-0. The U13s lost 2-5 but worked really hard throughout and the Y14s ended up losing 2-3, unlucky boys. Lots to take from the game.

A ‘goal fest’ yesterday as Tranby senior football boys took on Lincoln Minster School . The game finished 3-3 in the end and included some superb long range goals from George and Corey 👏

Thank you to Birkdale School for travelling over for the football matches this morning- all very tight games with fine margins being the difference. The Tranby U12 team battled it out to win 5-4 with - captain Harry getting the winner. The U13s & U14s lost by just 1!

We want to congratulate Hull Ionians RUFC U16 rugby team who beat Castleford 31-20 in the Yorkshire Cup Final today (played at Pocklington RUFC. We are particularly proud of two Tranby pupils- Luke and Darcy, who were an important part of the winning team today 👏👏👏

Great to see 11 teams playing loads of football this afternoon at the annual Tranby Senior 8 a side competition! Well done to eventual winners GSAL who beat Read on penalties to clinch top spot. But all players need a mention for the way they played and took part today 👏
