I think I've fixed the damage calc issues with the Hawlucha backport, so I'll be able to give it a proper run again soon!

The schedule until the end of the year isn't completely finalised, but we've got just shy of 50 videos together for the last 3 months of 2025 I don't wanna spoil too much about what's coming up, but I will tell you that our fastest overall time in every category just got faster.

We can add another Gen III line to the completed backport list. This time it's the turn of Baltoy and Claydol. I've never really had much exposure to these lines, so I'm very interested in seeing how they play at some point!

Another Gen III backport can be crossed off the list! This time, in the form of the Aggron line. It's been hotly requested, so I'm very glad to get it done. It's a physical powerhouse, which will be great, right up until Red.

I'm already stressing about the first challenge I'm recording tomorrow. It's a redo of a very, very strong Pokémon, and I really want to PB with it. I'm currently playing very well, but the routing I'll need to take to get a PB requires a few risky battles. Only time will tell.

I've got another line to add to the backport collection - the Vespiquen line! This one is likely gonna be very tricky when it gets its run. Combee isn't built for battling, and loses its speed upon evolving into Vespiquen! Fun fact: You can't get a legit Gen 2 shiny Vespiquen!

It's a very, very minute detail, and something that most people won't notice - I'm bringing back the custom backgrounds for each Pokémon's thumbnail. I fell out of the habit of it when I started focusing on backports, as they shared a common background but they're included now!

Big progress has been made with the pre recorded videos today. 5/12 edits for October are done and I've coded the remaining backports for the year. I'm hoping to have all of the 2025 challenge runs recorded by the end of October so I can hibernate for winter.

I am very pleased to say that all of October's Challenge Run videos are now rendering - we have 13 Challenge Runs together throughout October, including some Pokémon who could sit at the very top of the leaderboard!

I am desperately trying to find a more consistent answer to Red for slower Pokémon. Especially physical attackers. There are several runs where the Pokémon is on a fantastic pace up until Red, then they play the RNG game until finally getting lucky.

Hey folks. Unfortunately, my immune system has let me down again, and I've managed to catch Covid. My partner and I have just both tested positive. I will get back to streaming and creating pre-recorded videos once I'm recorded. All October pre-recs are out as planned.

Our next stream together is going to be slightly different than normal. We are going to be piloting our first Gym Leader challenge. The first part of the stream will be yapping and figuring out rules, then we will text out the ruleset to see what changes we might need to make.
