Maybe I'm a little too polite to scammers

I have lost clients because I requested delayed payment. I could have taken the payments right away and have them wait for a month or 2 before I start. I don't like taking payment if I can't start the commission within 2-3 weeks. 🥲It's hard to do the right things sometimes.

What I learned from doing commissions is that artist should not be undercharging and hoping for a tip. It will just be stressful and disappointing. Charge what your work is worth, if they tip, great, if they don't, you are not losing anything either.
