Yesterday, the first LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System was placed into service for the CFD and was purchased with donations from #EverythingAttachments & Interstate Foam. This LUCAS CPR assist device will greatly improve our response to PT’s experiencing cardiac arrest.

CFD Captain Erikson & Eng. Boston were able to successfully rescue and reunite this dog with its owner this morning after having fell down into a ravine, and becoming tangled and stuck in the vegetation. Great Work!

The CFD was honored to host Patrick McHenry as he presented two FEMA AFG grants totaling $736,433.52 to our department. These grants will be used to purchase a Heavy Rescue truck to replace a 1991 model, a LUCAS Chest Compression Device, and Hurst eDraulic Extrication equipment.
