1/3 One year ago - June 9th 2023 - Our weekly YEL Update newsletter mentioned that a number of our members had raised concerns regarding the use of the term 'academy' by certain clubs. We vowed to introduce into our 2024-25 League Regulations

YEL OFFICE closed from 5pm Mon 17 till 9am Wed 26 June. Emails will be monitored but replies may be delayed. Emails re: new teams, w/d for new season will not be processed until weekend 29/30 June when John returns. Please don't send duplicate emails as will only delay response

New Clubs & New Managers meeting - Mon 8 July - 8pm online. New clubs & new managers are welcome to attend to find out more about how the league is run and administered. Email [email protected] stating which team/club you are with and we'll send on a link to the meeting.

Plyrs have head & shoulders image uploaded to WGS before they can be registered. Managers/Coaches are requested to do the same. Pls log in to WGS account & upload a head/shoulders image so it's clear who's on the coaches side of the pitch & they're suitably qualified to be there.

Remembrance weekend. All teams are encouraged to hold 1 min applause/silence prior to games over the w/e to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our country safe & allow us the freedom to live our lives in the way we wish. As always, this is personal choice
