Yardley Morrisville Senior American Legion tryouts will be held at the Newtown Athletic Club (NAC) sports training center located at 207 Penns Trail, Newtown. You are requested to attend both tryouts scheduled for Sat, Feb 24 from 1:30-3:00 PM & Thur Feb 29 from 8:00-9:30 PM.

Former Staunton Braves player Ryan McCarty has been named the Northwest League Player of the Week by Minor League Baseball. Playing for the Vancouver Canadiens, McCarty was 8-for-19 (.421 average) in five games with three doubles, a triple and two homers.
