Congrats to Officer Jose “Joey” Jimenez, who graduated from the Oregon Police Academy last Friday. He now begins Field Training, which will take approximately four months. Once finished, he will obtain solo status and be assigned to a patrol team. Congrats, and welcome aboard!

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Woodburn Police Department Community Service Officer Jeff Solders, who passed away last Friday. Our deepest condolences go out to his co-workers, friends and family during this time.

***ROAD CLOSURE ALERT*** Woodburn Police are investigating a vehicle crash at Highway 99 and Molalla Rd (214/211) and have shut down the intersection. Detour in place to direct traffic from the area to reach I-5. Expect delays.
