Maggie Smith, who won an Oscar for “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” in 1969 and gained new fans in the 21st century as the dowager Countess of Grantham in “Downton Abbey” and Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films, died Friday. She was 89. to.pbs.org/4eEfjbr

WKNO-TV and the entire PBS family are saddened to hear the news of Dame Maggie Smith’s death. She was an icon who will be deeply missed but well remembered for decades of memorable performances, especially as MASTERPIECE | PBS's Lady Violet Crawley in Downton Abbey.

The most obvious difference is the large hump on the back of the bison. Buffalo do not have a hump. Move over camels... there's another "Hump Day" mascot... the bison!
