Our 7th Grade Strings kicked off their Scale-cathalon last week!! Congrats to the many students who passed off on their Bronze Level scales in the first two weeks! And a big shout-out to these two violinists who were the first to pass off on their Silver Level scales! Bravo! 🎉

Congratulations to our WillardLCPS 8th Grade Orchestra on their outstanding performance at Assessment yesterday, for which they earned unanimous Superior ratings! Bravo!

For the 2nd consecutive year, the WillardLCPS Music Department will be recognized by Virginia Music Educators Association as a Blue Ribbon School of Musical Excellence! The hard work that our Band, Chorus, and Orchestra put in to earn Superior ratings is phenomenal. Congratulations to all!

We celebrated Music in Our Schools Month with "Dress Like a Music Teacher Day", and we think these students knocked it out of the park!

We had the extreme pleasure of hosting US National Scottish Fiddle Champion Sean Heely for our first ever WMS Fiddle Fest! Our WillardLCPS stage was 🔥🔥🔥 tonight!

These *elite eight* WillardLCPS Strings students had the honor of participating in the All-County Orchestra festival this weekend under the direction of Angela Ammerman. Their phenomenal growth during rehearsals led to an outstanding performance! Congratulations! #musicedlove

We are finishing the year with teamwork, fun, and friendly competition during our Orchestra Olympics! WillardLCPS Strings students are interacting with musical concepts in new ways, building each other up, and celebrating the year together before we all head out for summer!

Help us cheer on these two WillardLCPS Strings students! They helped their Loudoun South All-Star team win the Little League District Championship last weekend, and after today's win they have made it into the final 8 in the State Tournament! We are rooting for you!

Last month these two WillardLCPS students got to participate in the Junior Regional Orchestra event at Colgan High School, under the direction of Christopher Cicconi from Towson University. We are so proud of their dedication to excellence in music! Way to stay WILD in Strings!
