No Saturday school this week for English. Anyone who is struggling with studying or needs to ask a question can come in and see Miss Healy next week - if she doesn't have a class she will be happy to give you a hand.

Remember, Higher English is next week Friday 11th - remember the separate elements of your exam - Close Reading and Critical Reading. Critical reading takes in your Scottish Set Text e.g. Duffy, MacCaig, Cone Gatherers, and the Essay.

For the Essay, remember there will not be a specific question for your text. The question will start with "Choose a novel which..." "Choose a play which..." and you will pick the one which matches your text the best.
