What a great day of football at Wheeling University. I came away very impressed with Zac Bruney and the program he has built. Former South Fayette star QB Landon Lutz is a great representative for WU as well I would love to see a WPIAL Pipeline to Wheeling.

We continue our gridiron All-MEC honorees with Wheeling U Football player Steven Mitchell! Mitchell earned Second Team All-MEC honors after leading the team with 836 rushing yards on 162 carries and six touchdowns #GoCards

The offensive line is our next stop on our All-MEC recognition as we honor Wheeling U Football's Alex Goodrick. Goodrick was an anchor in the middle of an offensive line that paved the way for an average of 160.1 Rushing Yards per game #GoCards

Our Final All-MEC honoree from the gridiron is our second offensive lineman, Wheeling U Football Player Peter Schmitt. Schmitt earned his second straight All-MEC honor after starting all 11 games and keeping his quarterback upright from the right tackle position #GoCards
