WGMS CTE students have been busy completing STEM activities this week during summer school. Ms. Taylor made learning fun helping students explore coding and engineering while working with computers and robots and building towers. 💻✨

6th graders, rocking their spirit gear and excited for this school year!

Working hard or hardly working?! These new tigers are CERTAINLY working hard! This week, 6th grade Career Investigations students had a "group chat" to talk and write about their current understanding of the word "career." 🐯💡

We love our community partners! Shout out to Teal MSP for the tech donations. New printers, monitors, and other office equipment landed at WGMS earlier this week. Woohooooo!

Last night was 8th grade night for the Lady Tigers Basketball team! They fought hard against Locust Grove and we are so proud of these 8th graders! 🐯🧡

A great week for field trips! Earlier this week, 8th grade students travelled to the D.C. National Zoo. It was a great day to learn about different regions and put their geographic knowledge to use. Next up: Sixth Grade goes to the River! 🐯🧡
