It took five days of good faith negotiation by the studios to reach a deal. Every other day of the strike was unnecessary lost time caused by the studios petulantly refusing to sit down and talk like adults

This is actually hilarious to me. These companies already have a trade association - the AMPTP, an organization whose name you’ve, well, heard a lot lately. They’re basically trying a lobbying rebrand because the optics around their previous trade group became so toxic.
