Just watched the first two episodes of The Studio. Showcases everything I love (and hate) about filmmaking, and it’s sooooo funny.

Just watched Killing of Two Lovers, which was shot for $32,000. Excellent showcase of what you can do with very little money as long as you have good acting, a vision, and the ability to execute. Highly recommend it!

It’s a shame that Havoc got relegated to Movie of the Week by Netflix, because this movie RIPS and would have been a lot of fun to see on the big screen with an audience.

Nobody vlogs as good as Casey Neistat. Just a masterful storyteller that can find ways to make the most routine activities interesting. youtu.be/EnhXwiPC3rE?si…

Clown in a Cornfield is pretty fun. I expected a lot more humor because of the Director doing Tucker and Dale, and while it has humor, it’s not close to that movie. Still the movie has great acting all around and some really fun kills.

Jeremy Saulnier (Green Room) is directing a horror-thriller for A24 titled OCTOBER, and yes, it's set during Halloween: bloody-disgusting.com/movie/3873669/…

Saw 28 Years Later, and thoroughly enjoyed it… but seeing a lot of audiences disliked it. Without posting spoilers, I’m really curious why…

What I miss about the Blockbuster experience is when a movie you really wanted to see was not available so you rented a movie you never heard of. It expanded my film palette so much as a kid and you don’t get that experience with streaming when everything is always available.
