To shape the close fight the Cavalry must be in the deep maneuver area - to be in the deep maneuver area the cavalry needs BCT/EAB support at times and requires combined arms. We need to be more than funny hats and spurs.

In EAB R/S there is a premium on self-sustaining, highly mobile, low EMS (HF PRI), with Ubiquitous AT that can enter an immature theater quickly and develop the situation rapidly to allow heavy A/S formations to get off the boat. Or we lose.
