That's better peeps 60 boats today.Lady on Willow Wren boat, only going 45 mins, asked if big house by lock was hotel. Why I asked, cos I've had enough. Talked thru the lock and off she went a lot happier. It's nice to make a difference. 😇😇🤡

Yesterday a lovely local lady called Liz donated a selection of rope side fenders and fender clips (white plastic), for us to sell, that had all been made by her husband and son. She asked that monies raised be put to our Macmillan coffee morning appeal. (August 16) pic later

46 boats today peeps at Hillmorton. Very close weather, almost touching. Fenders and fender hooks donated by Liz for our Macmillan fund. Some scroat has nicked a least 4 of the fenders. I am fuming. See you tomorrow peeps. 😡😡🤬🤬

55 boats today at Hillmorton with me and the boss Taryn.Strangest sight. Me stood by lock 2 with bottom gates open, lady boatertried to get into lock 3. My advice "always go for the one with the gates open". See you next week peeps. 🤡😝😂😜

60 boats today peeps. 1 boat came down lock said "we r turning round coming back. Y , He wants some lock practice, so left gates open. After 1/2 hour I thought it's turning practice he need's. Gotta have a chuckle. See you next week peeps. (the bolt's still there).😂😜😝
