Theta-burst stim (TBS) is used to treat depression, but how does it work? I dug into this question in my research yr with Corey Keller Angelique C Paulk, now out in Nature Communications, finding that TBS can produce plasticity-like changes in just minutes of stim. nature.com/articles/s4146…
I'm very lucky because every paper "I" publish is a @nature paper. But that doesn't take away the thrill of seeing good work out! The latest is work by Ueli Rutishauser et al describing how the human brain creates cognitive maps of related concepts nature.com/articles/s4158…
