I havent posted about a #manel in a while but i was sent this and wow So lets break it down a bit and do some due diligence Lets assume that each picture shown in the programme relates to a 'speaking opportunity/ slot/ session stage'

Now ideally id like there to be 50% gender equity- but lets looks at plastics numbers According to a bmj paper 2020 Consultant body is 20% women Registrar body is 40% women So with that in mind this still GROSSLY underrepresents women in this specialty
