An Anzac tradition with an illegal past. Anzac Day remains one of the only days that two-up can be legally played. The game was popularised by soldiers during WWI. This two-up set was seized by police in the 1970s. Visit us to learn more about policing during world conflicts.

Today is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against LGBTQIA+ discrimination. This flag, on display in our museum, was used by Victoria Police LGBTQIA+ Liaison Officers (LLOs) during community outreach events.

This week is National NAIDOC Week. Our museum includes important stories and histories, in the spirit of truth telling. It begins with an artwork by Gary Saunders, acknowledging the Country we are on - the traditional lands of Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung. and the story of our museum.
