That Gavin Creel news has really knocked me for six. He was so young and such a talent. Feel lucky to have seen him in the original London cast of The Book of Mormon and Waitress more recently. Life can be so damn cruel 😔

Gavin Creel was one of the greatest actors and musicians I have ever worked with. I admired and revered him not only as an artiste but also as a deeply beautiful person. My time working with him on The Book of Mormon in London remains one of the joys of my producing career.

The death of Gavin Creel is one that will impact theatre lovers on both sides of the ocean. He was one of the few who was loved and known here in London as much as in the US by theatre fans. I can't quite believe this.
