Wednesday, June 17: The rain has stopped, but the courts are too wet for the 7:30-9:00 class, so today’s 7:30 class is canceled and will be made up on Friday. I will check court conditions again at 8:15 to let the 9:00-10:30 class know if tennis is still on for today.

Wednesday, June 17: Although it’s not raining, the courts won’t be dry by 9:00, so today’s 9:00 classes are canceled. Friday is our make-up day. No camp tomorrow.

Monday, June 30: Due to a scheduling conflict at Stevenson, today’s 9:00 camp is canceled for all levels. Campers will be allowed a make-up session during the next 2 weeks to replace today’s missed camp. Please monitor your email, Remind, and X for further updates.

Hello, Campers! Thank you for your ability to pivot today. We have talked with Stevenson and will have camp tomorrow (Tuesday) at the Stevenson VHAC courts (always weather permitting) for both the 7:30 and 9:00 classes. On Wednesday, we will move our camp back to the VHHS courts

Sat, Aug. 30. Cougar JV1 goes 2-1 on the day beating Warren and GLC 5-0, but lost to New Trier 4-1. Good day of tennis for the Cougars.

Sat. Aug. 30: Cougars host a quad and go 3-0 on the day with 4-1 wins over Carmel, Hoffman Estates, and St. Viator. Great concentration while in the midst of a giant soccer tournament. Cougars take on LF at LFW on Tuesday. VH Cougars

Tues. Sept 9.: Cougars take on LF at all levels. Varsity battles hard but loses 5-3 taking the top 3 doubles spots. JV1 loss 7-1 in some close matches, and JV2 loses 7-2 with some tiebreakers. GLC for all levels tomorrow. VH Cougars

Sat. Sept 6: Cougars host an 8 team tournament today and walk away with the trophy! Cougars place 3rd at 1S and 1st at 2S, 1D, 2D, & 3D to stay ahead of 2nd place Marion Central. Special thanks to Coach Hov for running the Stevenson site. VH Cougars

Thur. Sept 10: The Cougars took on Deerfield last night at both varsity and JV1. Varsity loses 7-2 with the spotlight match occurring at 2S. Emma J. pulls out the 3rd set super breaker 10-7 to secure the win. JV1 loses 7-0 with some close matches. Niles West tonight. VH Cougars

Fri. Sept. 12: VH starts CSL matches vs. Niles West and competes until dark. Var. wins 6-1 with 1S @ 2S going the distance to win in close matches. JV1 wins 5-2 with tight matches as well, losing 2, 3rd set tiebreaks. Cross-town Classic on Monday as varsity hosts LHS. VH Cougars
