Candidate for most annoying Gmail/browser/Simplify issue of 2023: Gmail started using a non-breaking space instead of a space in some places in thread dates. Safari won't create a date with those spaces which broke date grouping. 😖😖😖 Fix uploading now...

Gmail is rolling out a code change (no visible updates) that breaks Simplify Gmail. Simplify Gmail v2.5.41 and v3.0.50 are rolling out right now to fix the issue. Thanks to those who reported the problem.

I already loved Simplify for making the Gmail UI clean, blocking trackers, etc. But this update is even more amazing with bundles (remember Inbox?), saved searches, and even more options to customize the UI exactly how you like! Highly recommend

As of yesterday, Simplify Gmail v3 is fully launched on all browsers (Firefox was last). Bug reports are slowing down but still trickling in. Edge still takes for ever to approve updates so you might consider using the version in the Chrome Web Store. simpl.fyi/gmail
