Went to have a last look at the ANZAC Hall at the AWM last week. It was miserable, and not just because of the rain. At the AWM entrance, the staff said "Oh, no. This is the museum entrance. The ANZAC Hall is round the back". It had already been disconnected. #AWM.

At the beginning of COVID I received a package of books from my esteemed friend Aedeen Cremin. Among them were the first couple of books of Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey/Maturin series. 20 books later I am on the last one, and they have seen me nicely through this strange year.
