More housing progress in the Mt Hope neighborhood along Pleasant St! Can’t wait for new neighbors!

Tomorrow night, members of PUN will be showing up to another city meeting regarding the Comp Plan at city hall! Members will once again speak about the need for up-zoning, parking reform, and keeping housing costs down.

Recent PUN activity: - Members spoke last night in favor of a new 300+ unit apartment building in Wayland Square - Tonight members will be speaking at the final Comp Plan meeting in favor of up-zoning and parking reform!

A new housing development will soon be finished in Fox Point! A “Now Leasing” sign hangs over the side!

Tonight PUN members will be showing up to a Ward 1 meeting to voice support for a new housing project around Wayland Square!

Last night PUN members attended Councilman John Goncalves’s community forum to voice support for a nearly ~300 unit apartment building in Wayland Square. Steve’s comment couldn’t have said it better: we need housing at ALL price points! 🔨 💰 🏠

Thank you Mayor Brett Smiley, Providence City Council and City of Providence for signing the city’s new Comprehensive Plan today! PUN members worked endlessly in supporting the up-zoning and parking minimum changes which will help our city grow. We were proud to show support! Let’s get building!

PUN turns out again! A new development is coming to Camp Street with 12 income restricted units to rent. PUN members spoke at a Mt Hope community meeting on the importance of bringing rents down and making the city affordable to all! Lets build! 🔨

PUN has officially voted to join YIMBY Action as an affiliate member! Very exciting things are on the horizon! We are the FIRST affiliate in New England 🌲
