Thrilled to work and learn alongside enthusiastic residents like Katie Chakrabarti who took her UM IMRP Safety and Quality #QI project to the next level! Automated reporting of anion gap in Michigan Medicine EMR resulted in fewer discharges with elevated anion gap.

"Blowing off steam": End-tidal CO2 is an underutilized resource for monitoring chest compression quality during CPR - one group of U-M Department of Internal Medicine residents is working to standardize its use across Michigan Medicine to help codes run more smoothly.
