Daily at 8am volunteers, prep all the food, and take to refugees at the station. They come back to the kitchen, clean, wash the dishes... Barely had time to return before curfew. Each cleaned, cut, and grated 40 kg of vegetables per day. They smell like fried onions and carrots..

Serhiy Hnevko, a UTC Dnipro-based passed away in his sleep last week at 39. From Luhansk, he helped Dina & Karina’s teams in Dnipro. A man of herculean, force and stature, he had unending compassion for refugees fleeing from the war. He is survived by his wife and 2 children.

On Friday a Dnipro highrise in the city center was hit by a Russian rocket, killing 1 and injuring 6, including a 7-month baby. In a short time UTC volunteers were on site providing food and resources for residents who had no place to go and first responders.

Today on July 4th we received countless messages from our teams wishing us a Happy #IndependenceDay2024 and thanking Americans for their support. As Ukraine fights for their independence they certainly feel the importance and magnitude of the holiday and what freedom means.

Nikopol, Ukraine One of our teams delivers thousands of gallons of water twice a week. The infrastructure is destroyed and many of the elderly have go easy way to access clean water without these deliveries. Your support helps them and thousands of others entry week.
