The final leg to camp requires some stretches…high spirits…tired bodies. Uddingston Grammar School

And they’re done for day 2! What an effort…20km, 5 hills and a lot of map work later…some well earned sore muscles. Now they’re in setting up tents and cooking food under headlight and moon light! One more push home tomorrow to Uddingston Grammar School @mrsmcwilliamUGS #uddytough

Sometimes we make mistakes…this team left their map case at the final check point last night! So after a heart felt apology to the whole expedition they performed heads, shoulders, knees and toes this morning to lift our spirits. Well done boys…lesson learnt! #uddytough

What a 3 days it has been. So hugely impressed my all 34 pupils who completed this week’s Silver Practice. Huge effort and determination shown by all. Time for all of us to have a well earned rest…! #uddytough

Well it’s a glorious and windy view from the tents this morning. After a long slog yesterday we stopped at a high camp on the kilpatrick Hills. Now the long walk home!! #uddytough

The morning started with the breaking of high camp and then a river crossing before our first two peaks of the day. Great energy from the team and lots of smiles (we’re heading g home!) #uddytough

The final push to the train station is on, after some broken ankles, lost pupils and temper tantrums (all scenarios!) we’re ready for a comfy seat and a cuppa! 🤘#uddytough
