Not sure I did a great job of explaining my position. I want G5 to have entry to the CFP because I like all of college football. I want FBS to be big and tethered. Giving G5 schools a CFP path keeps them relevant. I don't want to continue moving to a 30-team super league.

"We must negate half of FBS so this one single first-round playoff game might be better with a 2+ loss team in it" feels like an overreaction in the grand scheme of things.

I think adding buyouts to players just like coaches would help elevate the G6. Right now you are a farm system with no compensation. Having to pay the G6 you poach adds consequences and rewards that shake it up

Props to JMU for losing by less than Tennessee and SMU did in last year's first round.
