Tomorrow is Carlo's birthday 65. Still in hospital but improving. Been sitting in chair for 5 hrs, got smaller trach and valve to start talking. But bored to tears, and blue. If you can send any birthday messages to me, I will pass them along to him. Would really appreciate it!

Big day today. Carlo sat up in a chair for over 11 hrs. They capped his trach. So he is breathing real air, through his nose & mouth into his lungs by himself!!!!! He had 2 short walks & 2 trips to the WC. All in 1 day. Needless to say he is exhausted. But HOORAY!!!!! 💙💙💙

So Carlo is making headway. Rough couple of nights being capped but last night was perfect 🤞🤞🤞 Couple more days trach out 🤞🤞🤞But yesterday, below is what I had to deal with, a real WTF situaton! Thank goodness for the help of friends!! 💙💙🎂
