Sometimes when I’ve been this close to getting my idea of a dream job…it can be crushing. I’ve wanted to give up many times but my mother always insists on trust and having unwavering faith. We were both right. I didn’t give up and now…I’m playing moms on TV 🤣🤣🤣

I grew up in Hong Kong while it was still a British colony. And I was struggling in Chinese school with reading and writing Chinese so my mum transferred me into an International School. My mum actually saved my old school uniform and it still fit!

What started as making 10 fairies for my kid's winter faire at school...Someone had suggested I should put more singing vids out and it gave me such anxiety that I. Couldn't. Stop. Making. These. Lol. My mother, always encouraging, told me to just sing.  So...I did both!

My mum said she’d apologise now to the kid’s mum but, at the time , she expected your kids to be as tough as her own. Disclaimer: this doesn’t encourage bullying. I was just a tomboy who played rough. 😂

I ended last year and began this year with Covid. I'm still getting over it, but since I spent Christmas and New Year's mostly alone, I thought I'd dress up wearing my Christmas presents. I'm dressed up with nowhere to go, to sing a song for you. Happy New Year!!!
