Overall not a bad bill. I don't like the "no tax on tips" provision, and the "MAGA" fund is just the latest example of how embarrassing the brown-nosing has become. But overall, can't say I hate it.

The problem with the left is that they can’t separate the Erika Kirks from the Tucker Carlsons and Donald Trumps in terms of substance and message. The problem with the right is that the Erika Kirks, Tucker Carlsons and Donald Trumps are sharing the same stage.

This evening, Americans saw two paths they can take. What is notable is that progressives have chosen President Trump's path. They have become what they hate. Erika Kirk, however, presented an alternate path that they, and we all, should consider.

It makes no sense to tariff coffee. Americans love coffee & we grow very little of it. This is a tax on the U.S. consumer. Bigger picture, Congress needs to reclaim its Article One authorities over taxes & tariffs. I have proposed legislation to do this. theatlantic.com/culture/2025/1…
