If I was choosing new line colours, I might try to quarantine them so that the new colours don't get close to lines which already have those colours.

Unlike London, Cologne really is a circles-and-spokes city, and I'm delighted to say that in 2022 KVB officially adopted a concentric circles map based on my work.

Couldn't resist. This is an empty map rack at Euston Square Underground station, photographed today, and the writing at the top says "Pick up a leaflet to see how we're making travel better for all Londoners". The irony is brutal.

Thanks! It fell out naturally once I decided on the design approach. Saving paper doesn't help if it makes the whole thing unusable, doesn't matter what design rules you use, it needs to be on A3.

Thanks to the team at Perfect Colours for the hard work getting my new HP z6 printer up and running. It was not an easy installation but the engineer was fantastic. Switching to a new large-format printer is never easy but I am now catching up on my backlog of poster orders.

We now seem to have a date for the new Overground colours to be officially implemented, late September, so here is a sneak preview of my own circles map updated.
