Executive summary: Sunak's argument is utter bullshit.

The UK government and its continuous lack of real, global, meaningful leadership is an embarrassment. Another week where Sunak is found lacking a true vision for the future, and instead is using lies to promote more of the same.

The argument against votes at 16 basically fell apart once the country elected Boris Johnson. You can't seriously make the case that the young aren't grown-up enough to vote when the grown-ups chose a clown as prime minister.

None of these were even proposed. Rishi has taken us to new levels of lying and manipulation - framing inaction as political good will. We need an election now.

The population of Gaza is about 2 million. Nearly half are children. Millions of innocent people cannot be made to pay for Hamas’ horror. Collective punishment is a war crime. So are blockades to food and water. We cannot allow dehumanization to descend into further atrocity.

This would amount to displacing 1 million+ Palestinians—displacement on a scale we have not seen since the Nakba. The international community must act to prevent a calamity. History will not be kind to those who remain silent.
