The canvass is beginning to take shape. Here is a reflection of an Aboriginal lawyer view of ethics and the principles of conduct and responsibility in practice.

This morning we are traveling to Tempe Downs before Uluru. We'll be on the red desert sands continuing with the experience of sharing Aboriginal views of law and justice. The country will also share as we stay for three days out of mobile and internet range.

Leaving Mparntwe and stopped at the heritage Police station through the gap. Came across this trail.

The places we visit where legal institutions sit have stories and connect to our legal system today. The stories on country have a much longer history and also shape the world today. With these courses, the country also teaches.

Yesterday we travelled far and a difficult journey to arrive at a significant spot. This source of water also served as a place to teach and learn. Incredible feedback by students as they learn Aboriginal knowledge and context as a law based course.

This week has been the most incredible journey for 16 law students and all involved in seeking to change the way law is taught. We are all privileged to witness what we hope is planting the seeds of change for law schools/colleges across the nation.

Learning about Aboriginal law, knowledge and context is by engaging directly with the source authority. These were some of our classrooms.

Today our course goes out on country to Kakadu National Park. Setting the context on Larrakia country in the last few days has been important for our journey and learning and sharing.

We're near the end of hosting the first True Justice Deep Listening course for a group of lawyers and support staff, starting on Larrakia country and to various locations at Kakadu National Park. Thank you to NAAJA for the opportunity.
