What a frustrating 1st half. Good overall play, lacking a little bit of quality in the final 3rd. A stupid goal conceded in a stupid way.

From today’s game, the need for a midfield is so glaringly obvious.

As frustrating as that result was, there’s a lot to be encouraged by. Miles better than last season. So clear that Sesko needs to be starting. GK & midfield pairing got to be addressed ASAP. Get those sales sorted now, so we can make 2 new signings at least b4 Sep 1.

Said this to my Utd mate. I get why we needed to address goals (or lack of) from last season. But the FB/Wing back positions have been poorly sourced for a long time. We talk about trying to replace Michael Carrick, we still never replaced bloody Neville or Evra!
