This degree of projection is morbidly fascinating. Nobody in the history of humanity has ever been more desperate for the approval of others than Elon Musk. He literally bought an entire social media platform, in large part in order to control what was said about him, personally.

Ford ran on a promise to stop the gravy train. Then he spent $30M of your money on his gravy plane. He should be flying economy like the rest of us.

I was on CP24 Breakfast this morning when the story broke that Doug Ford spent $30M on a private jet – here was my response:

Doug Ford says fair grocery prices are “socialism.” But turns around and buys 26 million luxury jet on the public dime? Totally normal. Totally fine. Nothing to see here. Apparently helping families afford food is a problem but splurging on high-end perks isn’t.

Doug Ford seems to think that 1 and 1/2 trips per year to northern Ontario justifies the purchase of a $29 million jet. He could have hired 300 registered nurses, or 400 teachers, or 500 PSW’s that would have contributed back into our economy. Doug Ford has got to go.
