Finally got an MacMini M1 to test at our studio. You hear about it being fast and efficient, and it's all true. It "feels" like the a $10K workstation, yet just $850. Exported a #FCPX timeline from this week, it did it in half the time of my, now old, iMac.

The uses of Jump Desktop continue to impress. Going from office to home and using my 2013 iMac display, mouse, keyboard and audio for my 2021 MacBook Pro. Wired ethernet and no, that is zero, discernible delay in #fcpx. Using SwitchResX to match iMac 27 resolution.

Waiting for Apple universal control, I’m using ShareMouse for my iMac to control MBPR. Working great.
