At the end of the day, everyone saw Sudan take the UAE to the ICJ for genocide, and it made headlines worldwide. Even if the case was dismissed, it forced people to pay attention. More eyes are on the UAE now, and no amount of PR can erase what they’re doing in Sudan.

The ICJ dismissed the case because the UAE opted out of being held accountable for genocide, not because it was innocent. The court cannot legally try you. Thank you for proving what Palestine & Sudan have made clear which is that international law protects power, not people.
