Happy Easter everyone! A slightly different image today. These are Richard & Anthony Twentyman's graves in Claverley, Shropshire. I love the contrasting forms and stones, but particularly the dappled spring sunshine of their final resting place together. A very moving memorial.

One of biggest hellenistic mosaics ever found. Highly elaborate, meant to show power of Kingdom of Macedonia in ancient Greece. It is found in Palace of Aigai (capital of kingdom of Lower Macedonia), considered second most important structure of classical Greece after Parthenon.

One for #throwbackthursday: a few years back I stood outside Wells Cathedral for a full day and photographed the impact of the light on the front facade. I was amazed at the outcome - at how a single entity could morph and change under the changing light.
